How to Help

Pray: Scores of alumni have written passionate letters and emails describing how they are praying for Erskine and her leaders. Many have spoken of forming bonds and relationships with life-long friends, future spouses, etc. Several have shared how Erskine gave them an opportunity to draw closer to Jesus Christ and permanently changed their lives. These prayers express the desire for Erskine to extend the academic and spiritual environment from our years at Erskine to the next generation. We plan to post some of these letters when we can obtain the permission of the authors.

Share: Erskine has 11,000 living alumni. Seeing alumni become active on social networking sites and local media outlets is exciting, but more than half of our alumni are totally unaware of recent events. We need to let unconnected alumni know that Erskine was wrongfully accused by the Moderator's Commission; but she has been defended in civil courts, by large attendance at alumni meetings, and by faculty who issued a vote of "no confidence" in the Moderator's Commission's report and recommendations. Most of all, we need to share that with revised bylaws in place, Erskine is on the verge of advancing the Institution in tremendous ways.

Give: The EC Foundation has been the recipient of several significant restricted gifts. The donors have, in some cases, directed the use of the funds. We have been extremely pleased and humbled to merit the confidence of the Erskine family who have trusted us to administer their gifts. We have been given some latitude to support Erskine activities that sustain and validate the traditions of Erskine. We encourage you to continue to remember the EC Foundation as an additional avenue to support Erskine. As you know, gifts to the foundation are fully tax-exempt and will be acknowledged. We are fully prepared to accept gifts in the form of checks via US mail, secure online payments via our website, as well as securities through our account in a local brokerage firm.
